The 2026 Asia Triathlon Junior and U23 Championships – Hong Kong drew young triathletes from across Asia this past weekend. The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK), in partnership with the Triathlon Association of Hong Kong China, deployed over 30 students from the Service-Learning module to provide operational support throughout the event.
Dedicated HSUHK students took on diverse roles including anti-doping support, results management, logistical coordination, and athlete recovery, ensuring seamless execution so competitors could focus fully on their performance. Participating student, Leung Chi Hong, shared, “It was eye opening to experience the teamwork powering international sports.”
By contributing to the Championships, HSUHK students applied classroom knowledge in real-world settings, enhancing their community engagement and understanding of major international sports events.
