A 100% Student-led Promotion Campaign – Video Launch Promo 1.0 Successfully Concluded!

“Video Launch Promo 1.0 is a 100% student-led promotion campaign tailor-made for Service-Learning YouTube channel.”

The campaign aims to provide HSUHK community with the insights into teaching and learning experience while engaging in academic Service-Learning. Service-Learning ambassadors formed working groups and attended a training session in September 2023 and online preparation meetings in October 2023.

Video Launch Promo 1.0 successfully attracted over 180 views and gained more than 78 new subscribers on the YouTube channel in 28 days. The ambassadors employed various promotional methods, including designing posters, leaflets, online promotions, and offline promotion booths. These efforts aimed to attract teachers and students to explore our YouTube channel, preparing them for future Service-Learning projects.

Last but not least, let’s hear from our organising committee and see what they think about –

“Putting together and participating in a Halloween campaign is a ton of fun! We began the entire planning process on the first day, and I am incredibly proud of the team up to the very end. This was finally accomplished! It’s a great idea to invite students to subscribe to our channel in addition to trick-or-treating. Also, it’s a terrific idea to cheer up our fellow students for Halloween throughout the month of midterms. Although it takes a lot of psychological preparation to put on costumes, play loud creepy background music on campus, and ask people to follow our YouTube accounts, seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces as they receive candies makes it all worth it.”

“Joining the marketing team to design posters and details of the campaign, it was a great opportunity for me to experience the full engagement of students and strive for a higher goal of assisting in further different activities and events held by the programme. I am grateful that students were so fond of our events organising and made us an improvement on the promotion platforms. This gives us motivation to achieve more and hope that the STA programme can reach for more students and teachers in any aspects!”
