This year’s Fair was particularly special as it marked the 10th anniversary of the Centre for Teaching and Learning and the 5th anniversary of the Service-Learning Section, highlighting their contributions to enhancing students’ learning through meaningful service-learning projects.

Professor Joshua Mok, Provost and Vice-President (Academic & Research), and Professor Jeanne Fu, Vice-President (Learning and Student Experience), delivered remarks encouraging active involvement in service-learning, applying knowledge to bring a positive change to the society. Dr Ben Cheng, Director of the Centre for Teaching and Learning, expressed gratitude to teachers and external partners for their contributions.

During the opening ceremony, fourth-year student Kuang Zihao, third-year student Miley Siu, and third-year student Blue Chan showcased the outcomes of their service-learning experiences, demonstrating their commitment to making a positive impact. “Although I joined by chance, looking back at what I accomplished, I feel very proud and thankful for the opportunity”. said Blue. “It has truly been an enriching experience.”
